In Madaba, SCHEP partnered with the Madaba Regional Archaeological Museum Project (MRAMP) to support site development work in preparation for a planned new museum in the archaeological park.
Although one of the stated goals was consolidating the walls of the settlement, this has so far been only partially completed, given the considerable time and resources needed. Another milestone was cleaning three Byzantine era cisterns. All of these efforts served to prepare the environment for the construction of the future museum.
SCHEP continues to support MRAMP through grants and technical assistance for site development, capacity building, stakeholder engagement, communications materials, and more.
